The Purrrr-fect Rise

Cupcake Cat is an award winning Artisan Bakery suppling the best baked treats and desserts in town, including cupcakes, layer cakes, brownies, cheesecakes, pastries, pies, and much much more.

All baked and produced daily by our dedicated team of alley cats and headed up by renowned Pastry Chef and owner Tom Cat (TC to his friends), the bakery also caters for customers requiring cakes and cupcakes for any occasion such as weddings, birthdays, corporate events and other celebrations..

Our Bakery is now Covid19 prepared

We've been busy in the shop implementing a range of important Covid-19 protective measures to help our staff work safely.

We kindly request customers follow the UK guidlines and wear face coverings and also use contactless payment if possible.

We've also introduced the following risk reducing measures to ensure customer safety at every visit.

The Secret to our Purrrr-fect Bakes

We can't give away all of Tom's secrets about how he acheives the purr-fect Cupcake! But we can reveal that some of his magic is down to the use of top notch ingredients from these wonderful supliers.

  • Organic butter & cream ‐ from the award winning
    Mooove Along Farm & Dairy, Cowpat Lane, Nr York.
  • Free range eggs ‐ supplied by the happy chickens at
    Clucking Good Eggs, Dippy Egg Farm, Hot Chick Lane, York.
  • Organic flour ‐ grown and traditionally milled by
    Grind-y-Wheel Farm, Windy Bottom, Nr York.

Cupcake Cat Bakery believes in the Support Local Campaign which is why almost all our ingredients are locally sourced in Yorkshire!

All other ingredients that can't be grown locally such as our sugars and exotic fruits all come from select organic and Fairtrade growers.
