About The Cupcake Cat Bakery
Paws a moment & Treat Yourself
Right up Tom's Alley
Tom Cat and the Cupcake Cat Bakery are the fictional creation of Fiddle and Fettle Creative Design. Or should I say me (Heather) the person and dare I say it brains (cough, cough!) behind this indie business.
The idea of creating Cupcake Bakery came about from wanting to make a website that I could use as a case study and sample of work to advertise my skills.
After much deliberation of what subject I wanted the site to be about, I finally settled on the idea of a bakery. Though my original thoughts to be honest had it planned as a more normal looking affair.
But before I'd had a chance to start putting pen to paper designing the site, Tom Cat the Pastry Chef came to me. He appeared one afternoon as I was doodling during a family phone call (sorry in-laws) and as they say the rest is history!
Website Images
The real cakes and their photo's are the work of my son @thechimpb0y who's a Pastry Chef plus he's also pretty awesome at making chocolates too (Oooh now there's a thought maybe next I should design a chocolate shop!!).
The muffintop cakes were baked by @littlearras I think they're actually banana and salted caramel cakes (yum!!) and the photo is by me. All other creative graphics and artwork are also my own work.
